Maintaining fellowship status, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and Fellow of the American Neurological Association. She is also an active member of the American College of Physicians, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Baker Teacher Recognition Award (2018), Staff Teacher of the Year Award (2015), Neurology Resident of the Year Award (2011), Alpha Omega Alpha Resident teacher of the Year (2011), Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, Gold Foundation (2010, 2011), Medical Student Prize for Excellence in Neurology (2007), Neuroscience Critical Care Achievement Award (2007), and Waller S. Leathers Award (summa cum laude) (2007).
