She then went on to perform her residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland where she served as Academic Chief Resident in her final year.
Board-certified in dermatology, she is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology (AOBD). The AOBD is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the skin.
Belonging to several professional organizations, Dr. Veremis-Ley is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Michigan Dermatological Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
