A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Dombrow went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. To further expand his education and knowledge, he completed a medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at Yale University in New Haven. 

Following his training, he became board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, which is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
