Thereafter, Dr. Khosravi conducted a fellowship in pulmonary and critical medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin (2003 – 2006).
Dr. Khosravi holds three board certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine, i.e., critical care medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and internal medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
Internal medicine or general internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of internal diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
