A highly accomplished geriatrician and hospice and palliative care specialist, Dr. Patterson is the Director of Inpatient Geriatric and Palliative Care Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

An authority in her field, Dr. Patterson is currently board-certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is board-eligible in hospice and palliative medicine. The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
