The practice is owned and operated by Meredith Anderson and Amanda Mabe, both of whom have been working in the area and have seen first-hand the need for a more traditional type of primary care. Together, they have many years of experience treating patients and take great pride in providing the community with high-quality, patient-centered care and health education through a more personal and intimate experience.
In the nursing field since 2003, Meredith received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from East Carolina University and then a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Since becoming a nurse practitioner 14 years ago, she has worked in multiple areas including primary care, public health department with pediatric and women’s care, occupational health, student health, retail health and performing home wellness exams. Her passion is helping patients navigate the ever-changing health care system and providing the best and safest patient experience in a primary care setting.
Specializing in family care, Meredith is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
A Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) holds certification and provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and body systems. FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.
Happily married, Meredith and her husband and three children live in Ocean Isle Beach.
