Dr. Presley, a board-certified emergency physician, is the CEO of Sound Physicians’ emergency medicine service line. He works with Sound EM clinical leaders, front line clinicians, and hospital partners to achieve the highest quality clinical outcomes, efficient throughput, strong financial performance, and a positive patient experience. Dr. Presley leads Sound emergency medicine groups in 15 states that care for more than 1.5 million patients annually.

A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), he is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.
Emergency medicine is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
