He then completed a residency in vascular surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 2019, after which he joined the UT Southwestern faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge. 

On a professional level, Dr. Siah is a member of the Eastern Vascular Society, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.

Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, including the arteries, veins, and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction.
