Since beginning her nursing career in February 2012, Michelle has demonstrated unwavering dedication to patient care, initially serving on the medical-surgical floor before transitioning to a specialty role in rehabilitation. Over her 8.5 years in rehabilitation nursing, she has effectively treated patients with strokes, hip fractures, and chronic symptom exacerbations, earning her certification as a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.
Michelle’s passion for stroke care was ignited during her tenure in rehabilitation, leading her to pursue a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration. Recently, she transitioned to acute care as the Stroke Coordinator, where she is focused on enhancing the hospital’s stroke program from a Primary Stroke Center to a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
