In 2005, Dr. Stefanovic received the “Nancy Roeske, MD” Certificate, an annual award by the American Psychiatric Association for excellence in teaching and academic psychiatry.
Board certified in psychiatry, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Working for the Health Hospital Corporation of NYC, Dr. Stefanovic developed and managed programs for in-patient psychiatry. In 2011, she developed and implemented the first in-patient program for pregnant and postpartum women in the public health setting in New York.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Stefanovic is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and Marcé of North America.
