Dr. Khan is certified by the American Board of Surgery. The American Board of Surgery is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to provide board certification to individuals who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge in the field of surgery.
To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Khan remains a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Surgical Society of Alimentary Tract, and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Khan speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English.
General surgeons not only perform surgeries for a wide range of common ailments, but they are also responsible for patient care before, during, and after surgery.
