Dr. Huseini attended Al-Ameen Medical College, where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1997, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree Dr. Huseini completed his general surgery internship and internal medicine residency with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland. Following his internship and residency, he undertook a junior faculty position at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland while performing as a Chief Resident. He also continued inpatient clinical practice as a Hospitalist for five years. He then went onto to pursue a fellowships with Geisinger Health System (Nutrition-2011), Geisinger Health System (Gastroenterology-2016), and Brigham and Women’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School (Bariatric Endoscopy-2017). He maintains a Professional Membership with the American Board of Internal Medicine, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Association of Bariatric Endoscopy and The Obesity Society. Dr. Huseini currently practices with Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, and is affiliated with Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.
