He completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the combined Brigham & Women’s Hospital & Children’s Hospital with Harvard Medical School program in Boston, Massachusetts. He also pursued additional training in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City, New York.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
