Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Nicholas Argerakis, who serves patients in New York, New York.

Known to his patients as “Dr. Nick”, Dr. Argerakis is a New York-based foot surgeon at Silverstone Podiatry.

He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with a focus on revision surgery, as well as the reconstruction of deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, and flat feet. Raised in New York City, Dr. Argerakis attended Horace Mann High School. He spent his undergraduate years receiving dual degrees at Muhlenberg College before continuing on to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. While there, he completed a podiatric surgical residency, serving as chief resident in his final year. He then went on to the prestigious Weil Foot, Ankle & Orthopedic Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed a fellowship in advanced foot & ankle reconstructive surgery.

Currently, he lectures nationally and internationally on advanced surgical techniques in treating various foot and ankle deformities such as bunions and hammertoes (specifically second toe hammertoe and plantar plate repair). He also publishes his outcomes in foot and ankle surgery.

Among his professional membership status, Dr. Argerakis is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.

In addition, he is board-certified in podiatry by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, which exists to offer podiatric physicians a comprehensive board qualification and certification process.
