Watertown, Wisconsin – Nicole Simonson, DNP, RN, a prominent nursing professional with extensive clinical experience and a passion for education, continues to make remarkable contributions to the field of nursing. With a career spanning various specialties, including acute care in cardiac stepdown, intensive care unit, and cardiac catheterization lab, Nicole is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and advancing nursing practice.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Mary University in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Kaplan University in 2014. In 2020, she achieved her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Currently, she practices at Watertown Regional Medical Center, where she plays a pivotal role in the cardiac catheterization lab, float pool, and nursing education.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Nicole serves as the Director of RN-to-BSN Completion Programs and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing. In this role, she has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals by imparting her expertise in competency-based education.
