Additionally, she is the Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Program. She is also affiliated with the University Hospitals Chagrin Highlands Health Center, and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Featuring over a decade of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in all aspects of gastroenterology, although her focus is in pancreatology and biliary diseases.
Dr. Glessing’s career in medicine began in 2007, when she graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. After medical school, she completed her Internal Medicine residency with the Hennepin County Medical Center. Driven to further her knowledge and expertise, Dr. Glessing undertook her Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship training with the University of Minnesota Medical Center and then completed her Advanced Endoscopy fellowship training also at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. She is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
To keep current with the new developments in her field, Dr. Glessing remains a distinguished member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Pancreatic Association. She has dedicated her life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients, and strives to provide the best outcomes possible. With a passion for her work, Dr. Glessing provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide array of conditions, and she is noted for her expertise in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic pancreatic necrosectomy and endoscopic mucosal resection. When she is not assisting patients, she enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her dog and family.
