Janet Karen James deGuzman is an established Respiratory Therapist currently serving patients at the Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas.

Featuring over two decades of experience in her field, she holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Janet attended University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1998. Since graduating, she has accrued extensive expertise in neonatology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, adult critical care, emergency room medicine, and adult level 1 trauma.

Janet has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate respiratory care to her patients. She is passionate and applies her knowledge in providing patients with treatment and education in their disease process to improve their daily living. She loves traveling, animals and her kids. She attributes her success to her supportive environment and the wonderful people she works with every day.
