Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Aviado-Langer, DNP, FNP Provides Care for the New York Area

Dr. Jennifer Aviado-Langer is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice currently practicing with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She holds expertise in Medical-Surgical Nursing and Oncology Nursing among specialties and belongs to a team of an NP-led pre-surgical testing service for oncology patients. Dr. Aviado-Langer assists oncology patients with pre-op evaluations and assists in the optimization of oncology patients undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Dr. Aviado-Langer graduated Valedictorian with her nursing degree and certification as a Registered Nurse from George Brown College in 1995, preceded by a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College of the City University of New York in 1989. She has over two decades of experience in her field. . She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2005 from Monmouth University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2014 from Monmouth University. She has over two decades of practice and looks forward to innovative ways to provide the best of patient care.
To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the American Nurses Association, Oncology Nursing Society, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Cancer Society.
Dr. Aviado-Langer is always inspired to be of service to people especially in vulnerable times. She attributes her success to previous nurses, physician assistants, and MDs who were inspirational in enriching her knowledge, skill, and motivation to get patients in optimal condition. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys tennis and ballet. She was once in the Royal Academy of Dancing.
