Certified Nurse Practioner, Luke Anthony Cenac currently practices with the Ochsner Medical Center, where he holds expertise in Endocrinology and Emergency Room. Luke graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Louisiana State University in 2010, giving him nearly a decade of experience in his field. Furthering his education, he became certified as a Nurse Practitioner from the Nicholls State University in 2018. He holds additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

In 2018 he was an Honoree of Top 100 Nurses in Louisiana. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Luke chose a career in nursing as he has always had an interest in the medical field. He enjoyed the one on one interaction he got to have with patients while nursing and felt nursing was the right fit for him. He attributes his professional success to his friends as well as his social skills and ability to adapt to different environments.

Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses with specialized educational and clinical training in family practice. They have a higher degree of training in both the classroom and clinical setting than Registered Nurses (RN) do, although becoming an RN is a prerequisite.

When not working, he enjoys playing in a band and music.
