Dr. Mandi D. Conway is a world renowned ophthalmologist, having been in practice for more than two decades. Her career in medicine began when she graduated from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Conway then completed an internship at the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a PreClinical Cornea research fellowship, an Ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, a Post Doctoral NIH Research Fellowship in Viral Diseases of the Retina and a two year Surgical Retinal Fellowship in St Louis at Washington University St. Louis.
Dr. Conway is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and she diagnoses and treats a wide range of retinal and uveitis conditions and diseases for patients of all ages. She is particularly heralded as a leading expert in surgical retinal care, providing expert treatment for conditions such as retinal tears, diabetic retinopathy, intraocular tumors and macular degeneration.
Alongside her practice, Dr. Conway also serves as a Interim Chair and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She lectures in Retina and Uveitis across the globe. In acknowledgement of her work in this field, she has been awarded the coveted titles of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
