Jonathan Tomas, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC, PNP-PC & AC, is a highly experienced pediatric healthcare professional specializing in neonatal and pediatric care. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in both Primary and Acute Care, he brings a wealth of expertise to his practice.
Jonathan is proud to announce the opening of KiDS 0 to 18 Integrative Pediatrics in Gig Harbor, Washington—a comprehensive pediatric healthcare center dedicated to providing personalized, full-service care for children from birth to 18 years old. The practice specializes in meeting the unique needs of infants and children with complex medical conditions, developmental differences, and behavioral health concerns, all within a primary care setting.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Jonathan has dedicated himself to the health and well-being of children and their families. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Mexico in 2005, he quickly found his passion for pediatric care within the NICU and specialty care units at UNM Children’s Hospital. His pursuit of advanced knowledge led him to earn a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration.
A desire to expand his knowledge and scope of practice directed Jonathan to Arizona State University, where he earned a second Master of Science Degree as an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, alongside gaining valuable clinical experience in the NICU and PICU at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Jonathan’s journey took him to Dallas, where he honed his skills in caring for premature and medically fragile infants at Baylor University Medical Center and its affiliates. He further pursued advanced practice certifications in primary and acute care pediatrics at the University of Texas at Arlington. His clinical training at Children’s Medical Centers of Dallas and Plano honed his expertise in both primary care and the special needs of children born prematurely, affected by complications at birth, illness, or developmental delays.
For several years, Jonathan skillfully balanced his work between the hospital and a bustling pediatric clinic, where he provided both primary and complex care. This hands-on experience, combined with his advanced education, has shaped him into a well-rounded and highly skilled pediatric healthcare provider.
Now, as he settles into his new home in Washington, Jonathan is eager to bring his expertise and deep passion for pediatric care to the community.
