Peter Guirguis graduated with his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He then earned his Medical Degree in 2007 from SUNY- Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Thereafter, he completed his internship and Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Connecticut in affiliation with Hartford hospital.
Dr. Guirguis is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as certified in robotic surgery. He remains a professional member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Guirguis currently works as an Ob/Gyn physician in his family private practice, Guirguis OB/GYN, where he specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He is affiliated with New York Methodist Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital.
