His internship and residency in general orthopedics and trauma care were completed at Orlando Regional Medical Center, after which he obtained his fellowship in orthopedic surgery at OrthoCarolina Spine Fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina.
With years of experience, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Happily married, he and his wife Angie have 3 children – Aubrey, Gabriella, and Aaron. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, eating great food, art, doing volunteer work, and participating in outdoor activities.
