A Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, he is board-certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. Moreover, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Medical Association, and the New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
