Dr. Muangman graduated with his Medical Degree from Chiengmai University Hospital in Thailand in 1964, giving him over five decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he then completed his internship with the Chiengmai University Hospital before relocating to the United States and completing a second internship with the New Britain General Hospital. He then completed his residency with the Hartford Hospital. Wanting to further his training he then completed his fellowship with Hartford Hospital, Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Muangman is certified by the American Board of Radiology. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the Hartford County Medical Association, Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Radiological Society of Connecticut. Dr. Muangman is also a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. He currently practices with Radiology Associates of Hartford and Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, and is affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital.
A radiologist is a physician who reads and interprets digital images, or x-rays, of patients obtained through a variety of cameras, machines, and imaging equipment. The radiologist uses this information to help diagnose the patient and consult with the treating physician to develop a course of treatment.
Dr. Muangman attribute his professional success to his father and his family for unconditional love and support, as well as his education, experience and dedication to the medical field.
