Renee Marie Hamilton is an established Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within the Summit Concord Medical Group in Knoxville, Tennessee. Featuring over three decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in internal medicine and family practice.

Renee’s career in nursing began in 1987, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. An advocate for pursuing further education, she went on to complete her Master of Science Degree in Health Administration from Independence University in 1994. Renee then earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2012 from the University of Tennessee. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Renee is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. In addition to her clinical work, she also serves as an  Adjunct Instructor at South College Knoxville. With a passion for nursing, she attributes her success to her dedication to her work and the support of her family. When she is not assisting patients, Renee enjoys genealogy, reading, crocheting, and cross stitching.
