Dr. Vasilyeva’s career in medicine began in 1981, when she graduated with her Medical Degree from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in Russia. After moving to the United States, she completed an internship at New York Hospital and residency at Harlem Hospital, before undertaking her fellowship training with San Francisco General Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Vasilyeva acquired her PhD from the Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Vasilyeva is a distinguished member of the Radiological Society of North America, the New York Roentgen Society, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
