She then completed her psychology postdoctoral internship with Family and Children’s Services in San Jose, California. To stay up to date with her field she remains a professional member of the American Psychological Association, Association Internationale d’EthnoPsychanalyse, American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, World Association for Infant Mental Health, Doctors of the World/Health Right International, and the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect.
Current Position: She practices at Abbey Psychological Services where she is the founding director. Abbey has many branches including its refugee and pediatric branches. She is also the executive director with the nonprofit, Always be Listening Global Initiative. She is a part time faculty with the Notre Dame de Namur University in California. She is an honorary advisor of the Neuropsychology in Pakistan, as well as an advisory board member for the Family Alliance for Counselling Tools and Resolution. She is also an Expert Reviewer for Pearson Assessment Services Inc. and a Juvenile Dependency Court Forensic Psychology with the Superior Court of Santa Clara County. She is also affiliated with Chabad Psychiatric Clinic.
