Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Rachael Janoso, who serves patients in Brighton, Colorado.

Dr. Janoso is a trusted, fellowship-trained pediatrician at Brighton Pediatrics in Brighton, Colorado. Determined to provide the best care to her patients, she enjoys care from the very first moments of life through adolescence. She is especially passionate about the care of newborns and infants as well as adolescent health and gynecology.

A firm believer in establishing trust and rapport with her families to better serve their needs, Dr. Janoso will take the time to fully address concerns and understand where her patients come from. She is happy to be back home near the Rocky Mountains and is proud to serve the community and families of Brighton Pediatrics, in addition to learning to be a strong and empathetic pediatrician and an advocate for her patients and families.

“I have always wanted to be a physician. Even from the time I was in elementary school, I would always reply that I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. I don’t know if I’ve completely “grown up” yet, but the journey thus far has been worth it, even with its challenges and long hours” expressed the doctor. 

A Colorado native who is originally from Highlands Ranch, Dr. Janoso fell in love with pediatrics during her training in medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She then went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

A member of the American Medical Association, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Licensed to practice medicine in Colorado, Dr. Janoso is affiliated with Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

In her spare time, Dr. Janoso enjoys running outdoors, swimming, reading, binge watching TV on Netflix, going to the movies, singing, painting, musical theater and all things Disney.
