After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed his internship with the Kilpauk Medical College Hospitals, before relocating to the United States. He then completed his General Surgery Residency with the Marshall University School of Medicine. Furthering his training he completed his Transplant Fellowship with the University of Minnesota.

He holds an expertise in the Neuroendocrine Tumor Program, Liver Surgery, General Surgery, Cancer Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
