Wanting to further her education she then graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Hunter- Bellevue School of Nursing in 1999. She is certified as a registered Nurse. Additionally she holds Med/Surg Certification, ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certificate, Basic Life Support certification, and advanced cardiovascular life support certification.

To stay up to date in her field Angela remains a professional member of the Oncology Nursing Society. She currently practices as a registered nurse within the Ambulatory Infusion Therapy Unit with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she holds an expertise in Medical Surgical Oncology, Respiratory Care, and Surgery. She chose to pursue nursing as a she needed a career that was challenging, interesting, meaningful and had many opportunities and rewards.
