Registered Nurse: The main role of a registered nurse is to assist physicians in providing treatment to patients suffering from various medical conditions. While their primary responsibilities will involve caring for patients, their specific job duties will vary depending on your employer and specialization. Jonica’s specializations are Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Medical Surgery, Telemetry, and Cardiovascular, so her job role will be assisting physicians in those specific medical situations. While a majority of registered nurses work at hospitals they are not limited to that setting, they can also work in in clinics, schools, assisted living facilities, homes, schools and more. They must also stay up-to-date with new tools and technology to help provide the best care to patients and families, and the best support to doctors and other healthcare professionals. Personal: Correy served the US Air Force from 1994-1997 and was a Radiologic Technologist from 2005-2012. She attributes her success to enjoying patient care as well as giving back to the community. When she is not working she enjoys kayaking, Four-wheeling, and her four great danes.
