Melissa is a registered nurse with an abundance of experience in her field, she holds expertise in Critical and Palliative Care. She graduated with her Nursing Degree from Mercy College of Ohio and Clarion University. She holds additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPR Certification, Intensive Care Certification, IV Therapy Certification, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Additionally she is a certified psychiatric nurse and has experience as a charge nurse.

Additionally, Melissa is a Certified Emergency Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, Palliative Care, and in Autism. She has practiced as an (EMS) Emergency Medical Services also known as ambulance services or paramedic services. As well as a First Responder and Fire Fighter.

To stay up to date in her field, Melissa remains a professional member of the Alpha Delta Nu, Gamma Delta Chapter, and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. The Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service, and their vision is to be the global organization of choice for nursing.

Melissa attributes her professional success to her Faith in Jesus and secondly to her father and sons. When not working, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, ocean swimming, and going to the gym.
