Registered Respiratory Therapist Educator, Michael R. Harshfield, RRT, MHEd, will be Announced in FindaTopDoc – FindaTopDoc

FindaTopDoc is pleased to welcome Michael R. Harshfield, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the FindaTopDoc. Now retired, Mr. Harshfield was a highly respected Registered Respiratory Therapist Educator who once provide exceptional care and support to his patients at Lone Star College-Kingwood, in Houston, Texas. He served as an Instructor and Professor in the Respiratory Care program. He featured over forty-two years of experience in his field while having to specialize in Clinical Education, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Michael’s long and successful career as a practicing respiratory therapist and professor began in 1977 at Tacoma Community College where he obtained his  Respiratory Care certification. He then continued on to complete his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Puget Sound, and his Masters of Health Education degree at A. T. Still University. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in his former field, he maintained a professional membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care and the Texas Society for Respiratory Care. He attributed his success to his love for teaching, strong association with his colleagues and all the good leaders in his life.
