Dr. Michael Kluska, DO, affectionately known as “DrDaddyK”, is a triple board certified surgeon specializing in cosmetic, plastic/reconstructive, and general surgery. Dr. Kluska’s journey to becoming a highly respected surgeon began with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art from Washington & Jefferson College, followed by earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Health System – South Pointe Hospital, where he also pursued a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Kluska spent 15 years in private practice in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before he was asked to be Medical Director of The Greenbrier Center for Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa and its affiliated services in Beckley, West Virginia. His most recent practice was with Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he practiced for 5 years.
Along with esteemed positions as an Adjunct Professor at Lake Erie College, Surgical Department Advisory Board Member of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kluska is a Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (FAACS) and the American College of Osteopathic Surgery (FACOS).
Having spent over 25 years honing his craft, Dr. Kluska has held prestigious positions in the field of cosmetic surgery, including serving on the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s Board of Trustees and being appointed as President in 2017. He was recognized as a “Master Surgeon in Plastic Surgery” by the Surgical Review Corporation in 2020.
Recognized for his expertise and contributions to the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Kluska is a sought-after expert in radio, television, and publications such as Plastic Surgery Practices, Cosmetic Surgery Times, and New You. In his personal life, Dr. Kluska is a devoted family man, husband to Melissa, and father to four grown children, including three girls and one boy, all of whom he has actively supported in their pursuits, from sports coaching to nurturing their talents.
When not in the operating room, Dr. Kluska enjoys fishing and staying active through running, golf, and tennis.
