After studying biology at Franklin and Marshall College, Dr. Mainardi went on to attend medical school in Italy for three years before transferring to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1972. He went on to complete both his residency and fellowship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire where he spent additional time on the faculty as an assistant professor.
Over the years, Dr. Mainardi honed his skills and expertise through various prestigious roles, culminating in his appointment as the Chief Medical Officer at AdventHealth Hendersonville in North Carolina in 2012. During his tenure, he established the AdventHealth Rheumatology Department, bringing specialized care to the community.
In 2018, Dr. Mainardi made the decision to transition away from his administrative duties to focus solely on direct patient care, a testament to his unwavering commitment to his patients’ well-being.
