Dr. Carinder’s career in medicine began in 1994, when he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Oklahoma State University in Tulsa. After medical school, he completed his residency and fellowship with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Carinder is dual board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

 

To stay current with the newest developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field, Dr. Carinder maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. He is passionate about enhancing his patients’ quality of life, and shares his wealth of knowledge as a Clinical Associate Professor with Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
