Respected Director of Nursing, Barbara DAnna Van Sant, DON, RN will be Highlighted in FindaTopDoc

Barbara DAnna Van Sant is an established Director of Nursing currently providing exceptional care and support to her patients within the Vantage House in Columbia, Maryland. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in critical care and intensive care nursing.

Barbara’s career in nursing began in 1976, when she worked as a Nursing Assistant at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Maryland. An advocate for pursuing further education, she earned her Nursing Degree in 1984 with CCBC Catonsville. Since graduating, Barbara has completed a number of advanced training courses, and she is committed to keeping current with the new developments and guidelines in the nursing field.

As a Director of Nursing, Barbara has learned to recognize the important roles of responsibility, authority, and accountability, and she accurately assesses management effectiveness. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care and attributes her success to her previous work in CCU and ICU. When she is not working, Barbara enjoys spending time with her two horses, training dogs, and reading.
