Dr. John Wayne King is a highly respected and experienced surgeon, having been in practice for over two decades. His career in medicine began in 1990, when he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree with high honors in anatomy from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Thereafter, Dr. King completed his Orthopedic residency at Peninsula Hospital Consortium in 1996. As a Major, he then served on active duty as staff orthopedic surgeon at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital for four years the last two in which he served as Chief Orthopedic Surgeon.
Dr. King is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. With a passion for his work, he is noted for his expertise in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, wrist, hip, knee, and ankles, and the use of implants and devices.
