With over thirty years of experience, Seth Eisenberg, MD, is a sought after clinical psychiatrist, behavioral healthcare consultant, and CEO of Recovery Rebooted LLC, an online, self help addiction recovery program.
Dr. Eisenberg’s focus and expertise include the medical leadership in state-funded addiction treatment systems, private psychiatric hospitals, not-for-profit community behavioral health agencies, and university medical settings. Dr. Eisenberg is a SBIRT and Behavioral Health Training Consultant for the Georgia Association of Primary Care. Many of his trainings focus on Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. He is the Psychiatrist for the Assertive Community Treatment Program (ACT) at Gateway Behavioral Health Services in Brunswick, Georgia, was the Medical Director at TASC of Illinois in Chicago, which works with the criminal justice population, serves as Medical Director at The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (IDHS/DASA), and was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Dr. Eisenberg graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies at Washington University, a private research university in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1853, and named after George Washington, the university is known for having students and faculty from all 50 U.S. states and more than 120 countries. He earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, a private graduate school in 30 miles north of Chicago. The university is named for famous DNA crystallographer Rosalind Franklin. Photo 51, Dr. Franklin’s X-ray diffraction pattern for B-DNA, was pivotal in the history of biology in the twentieth century, and this photograph is the basis for the university’s seal and logo.
His internship, residency and Child and Adolescent Fellowship were completed at St Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco California where he completed. He has achieved Board Certification in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and remains at the forefront of his specialty with memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, such as the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Addictions Psychiatry, the American Telemedicine Association, and the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Dr. Eisenberg on staff and faculty and was the Director of Addiction Psychiatry and the Director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship from 2002 to 2009 at Northwestern University Medical School and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago Illinois. He was faculty at Medical College of Georgia and won best instructor award in 2013.
The recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Dr. Eisenberg as been selected as a Top Doctor, Healthgrade Honor Roll member and Leading Physician of the World. His hobbies and interests include exercising, sports, reading and being with family.
