Jana D. Bingman, MD, is a well-versed child and adolescent psychiatrist who diagnoses and treats patients at OU Physicians, University of Oklahoma-Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Schusterman Center Clinic, also in Tulsa. She is part of one of Oklahoma’s largest physician group and practices in the Department of Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
OU Medicine is the collaboration of The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, OU Physicians, OU Medical Center and The Children’s Hospital. The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine was founded in 1900 as a medical department of the University of Oklahoma at its main campus in Norman. She went on to gain a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals, in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Bingman received board certification in psychiatry with an added qualification in child and adolescent psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and remains at the forefront of her challenging specialty through professional memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, including the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychological Association. Additionally, she is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in psychiatry as well as child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

The second year of the program focuses on neurodevelopmental disabilities, community child mental health, forensics, school-based mental health services in Union Public Schools, eating disorders at Laureate Psychiatric Institute, and adolescent substance abuse treatment at Tulsa Boys’ Home.
