Throughout his career, Dr. Bergman has played a pivotal role in the development of patient management tools, particularly the RAPID3. This disease measurement tool is now an outcomes measure accepted by the American College of Rheumatology and used worldwide. His related research has been presented at national and international meetings. Dr. Bergman is a recognized leader in the field of clinical outcomes and has spoken both nationally and internationally on this and other topics. For his work, he has been nominated to receive the Joseph L Hollander Award for Excellence and Achievement in Rheumatolgy by the SE PA Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Bergman has been President of the Philadelphia Rheumatism Society, one of the oldest rheumatology societies in the US and a Past President of the Delaware County (PA) Medical Society.
