Born in Blytheville, Arkansas on May 29, 1950, Dr. Wilson Jr. attended Villanova University and earned his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine. He then performed his primary care internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard University affiliated hospital. Furthering his training, he completed his fellowship in rheumatology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in August of 1981.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
