After obtaining his medical degree he completed his internship and ophthalmology residency with the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. Wanting to further his training he completed a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Selser is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. To stay up to date in his field he remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Selser currently practices with Ohio Eye Associates and is affiliated with OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital, where he holds an expertise in cataract surgery,specialty implants, refractive lens exchange surgery, LASIK, corneal transplantation, DSAEK, and glaucoma therapy. Previously, Dr. Selser practiced at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, where he was Associate Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology.
