Recognized as a skilled ophthalmologist, Dr. Lee III joined Southern Shores Eye Center, P.A. in Manahawkin, New Jersey in 1998. He has been a managing partner since 2003.
Helping his patients to maximize their vision and well-being, he offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery at the time of cataract extraction using the Glaukos iStent. With a broad educational background, Dr. Lee III graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors from the University of Notre Dame. He then attended the Duke University School of Medicine, graduating with his medical degree in 1994. From there, he went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh where he finished as Chief Resident.
Serving the Manahawkin and surrounding communities for over 20 years, he is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Lee III serves on the Operations Committee of AtlantiCare Surgery Centers. He is actively involved in Multifocal Premium and Toric IOLs in advanced sutureless cataract surgery.
