As a fellow of the Medical Scientist Training Program, he received both his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and his MD from Stanford University. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at UCLA and served as chief resident at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center.
Since 2016, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Pain Management at Touro University. He has also been retained as an expert witness in the anesthesia and pain management fields and has consulted in a wide variety of cases.
A Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice of the World Institute of Pain, the doctor is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the World Institute of Pain. He has published several influential papers in respected medical journals, as well as holds a competency certificate in fluoroscopy and radiation safety.
Furthermore, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, whose mission is to improve the quality of pain medicine.
