After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri in 1991. This was followed by a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine, where the doctor served as Chief Resident.

When he is not working, he enjoys playing various sports, but mostly enjoys running and biking. Residing in Monmouth County, he also loves spending time with his wife and three boys.
