A friendly and professional obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Krueger is in private practice in San Antonio, Texas. At the start of her academic career, Dr. Krueger graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Southern Methodist University, and received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
While serving as Chief of the OB/GYN Department at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Dr. Krueger was instrumental in establishing public cord blood donations for expectant mothers.
Promoting wellness and optimal care for women, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
Holding privileges at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital, Dr. Krueger is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Medical Women’s Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (Fellow), the Texas Medical Association, the San Antonio OB/GYN Society, and the Bexar County Medical Society.
Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders that affect women, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, and menopause. Additionally, they work with expecting mothers throughout their pregnancies, during childbirth, and into postpartum.

On a more personal note, she grew up in New Mexico where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family in the mountains. She has two children and two grandchildren whom she had the privilege of delivering. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and tending to her ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Among her accomplishments, she is especially proud of the fact that she is fluent in Spanish.
