Following an internship and residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center in 1983, Dr. Marando continued his residency training in anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. Subsequently, he went on to complete a Basic Science Pain Research fellowship with the Yale University School of Medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in Connecticut, the doctor is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
