Dr. Saffar is an orthodontist who has been creating beautiful smiles since 2002. He is currently serving patients’ dental needs at My Orthodontist in the state of New Jersey. With nine offices conveniently located in Lawrenceville, West New York, Cherry Hill, Deptford, East Orange, Paterson, Bayonne and Medford, New Jersey, as well as in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, My Orthodontist offers the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment. Using state-of-the-art technology and innovative techniques, Dr. Saffar and the team of professionals offer metal braces, clear braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and Invisalign Teen.
Dr. Saffar’s true passion is to make a positive change in people’s lives by helping them to achieve confident and dazzling smiles. He has accomplished this vision very successfully over the years and his mission is to continue to provide the same level of high quality service to as many people as he can across the globe.
Dr. Saffar earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his specialty training in orthodontics at the prominent New York University School of Dentistry. He also completed a six-month fellowship in surgical orthodontics at the New York University School of Medicine, providing him with additional training in the management of difficult orthodontic cases.
With his vast array of experience, Dr. Saffar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Mercer County Dental Society. He is also a former President of the Hudson County Dental Society and the current President of the Mercer Dental Society.
Dr. Saffar has had several abstracts published. He has also lectured at the American Association of Orthodontists convention, the New York Greater Dental meeting, and the International Association for Dental Research meeting.
Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, formerly referred to as orthodontia, is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. As an orthodontist, Dr. Saffar is responsible for locating problems with the positioning of patients’ teeth and with their oral development.
In his spare time, Dr. Saffar enjoys skiing, traveling, exercising, meditating, playing golf and tennis, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Parissa, have one daughter – Nikki. The family lives in Belle Mead, New Jersey.
